Jenin – Foreign diplomats come under Israeli bullets as an IDF soldier described the harrowing scene of seeing a group of what he presumed to be Arabs walking towards him.

“I felt unsafe seeing a group of well dressed Arab looking people walk towards the gates that separated us,” the soldier said. “It didn’t matter that they didn’t have any weapons, it was just their decency that terrified me.” This comes after Jenin Refugee Camp has been under siege since January 21st.

World leaders have been exceedingly quick at obfuscating the seriousness of the situation, with the German Foreign Minister requesting clarification from Israel despite calling diplomats at the scene. Other countries are waiting to see how Israel will clear itself in its investigation.

An Israeli spokesperson we interviewed claims that these shots were meant to intimidate the diplomats, but was surprised at the passive condemnations from the EU, “It was antisemitic for the diplomats to deviate from the original route. We regret the inconvenience that the delegation has caused to our Israeli Diaper Forces in the area.” When we asked the spokesperson to clarify, they noticed our Arab features and responded by pointing to a sign stating that the sidewalk we were filming on is for Israelis only, then they also opened fire on us.

So far, the Israeli genocide has killed 52,928 people in Gaza, possibly an under count due to the deliberate Israeli targeting of hospitals.
